Zoo Sketch Crawl!

When? Saturday May 27th from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Where? Smithsonian’s National Zoo, Washington, DC

The Details from our website:

Meet us for this free event at the National Zoo and sketch away! (Writers welcome too!) Meet at the Connecticut Street entrance by the lion statues at 10 am. Admission to the zoo is free, but the zoo charges for maps/guides.  Parking is $22 and fills up fast, spots can be reserved through the Parking Panda site. Or take the Metro Red Line to the Cleveland Park station and walk south on Connecticut Avenue to the zoo entrance. After the sketch crawl we will go for lunch (if the weather is nice) to Firehook Bakery & Coffeehouse which has a patio in the back.  Register at our website.

Come learn how to use bullet journal techniques to help organize your revision notebook. Laura Shovan, author of The Last Fifth Grade of Emerson Elementary (Wendy Lamb Books/Random House), will share different methods she has used to organize her revisions and give you the tools to set up your own revision journal for your work in progress.  This is a FREE hands-on workshop.  Please bring a notebook and pens/pencils/markers.
