Happy Friday!! Some of us got our first “accumulation” of snow over night. Winter is finally here, but never fear. The days are officially getting longer and hope springs eternal. Speaking of Spring…

Monday is the first day of registration for our annual conferenceFrom Dreaming to Doing promises to be chock full of amazing speakers presenting on a wide variety of topics including:

  • Writing inclusively
  • Introverts and extroverts in publishing
  • Working with small presses and large presses
  • Seamlessly incorporating research into your writing
  • Developing a story from beginning to end
  • Finding your visual style
  • Nonfiction techniques for science, social science, and biographies
  • Everything you need to know about queries and submissions

As always, we will be having manuscript critiques and portfolio reviews.
