And, here’s an event for all of our Marylanders. SCBWI member and former Co-Regional Advisor, Lois Szymanski will be at the Finksburg library next week. As of the writing of this post, there are still spaces available-so make sure you register for this unforgettable program.

Her talk will include information about the ponies, who are the focus of her Chincoteague pony trading cards, the foals that inspired her picture book Wild Colt, and the amazing survival of the stallion who is the topic of her chapter book The True Story of Miracle Man. After the talk, visitors will be able to meet a real Chincoteague pony and ask questions of the pony’s owner. This will be a great experience for the entire family! All attendees need to register.”
I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather and get a chance to get out to some of these amazing regional events.
As always, Happy Illustrating and Writing.
