Happy New Year!

From all of us bloggers to all of you…

I hope everyone had a fantastic 2013 and holiday season! Mine was great but also very … challenging, so I’m ecstatic about starting the new year with blank slates, renewed spirits, and fresh goals.

But first, a thank you to our readers!

After reviewing As The Eraser Burns’s 2013 Annual Report from WordPress, we learned that our blog has been viewed about 52,000 times last year, wow! And visitors came from 125 countries, which is the coolest thing ever. So here’s a major THANK YOU to everyone for stopping by!

Our most active commentors were:

  1. Miranda McClain
  2. Veronica Bartles
  3. Kara Laughlin
  4. Sarah Maynard
  5. Kerry Aradhya

Thank you, Miranda, Veronica, Kara, Sarah, and Kerry for your comments! We appreciate it, ladies!

And now that NaNoWriMo, Thanksgiving, and the holiday season is over, we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and get down to some serious blogging. We will soon be starting a series on social media, a topic that hits home with me now that I’m redesigning my platform. And since our highest-viewed posts have been about picture books, we plan on having more contribution posts about books for younger readers. We will also be giving ATEB a makeover in the next few weeks to better match SCBWI’s sparkling-new website!

Until then, be sure to mark your calendars for our Spring: Nature’s Revised Draft hands-on, one-day conference on March 29, 2014!

And again, Happy New Year from Larissa, Susan, Shelley, and me! Let’s make 2014 awesome! 🙂

  1. As one of the “most active commentors,” I can’t let this blog post sit idle with no comments, right? 🙂
