Conference Challenge Wrap Up!

Happy Thursday, everyone!

For those of you who participated in our eight-week Conference Challenge, like Rock Star Lona Queen, who just sent me her fantastic illustration for Challenge #4 . . .

. . . woo-HOO, you’re all fabulous, wonderful, AWESOME! Susan and I are, at this very minute, assembling all the goodies that are going in the basket.

Here’s a little hint: One item starts with an M, ends with an M, and has peanuts surrounded by chocolatey goodness. 😉

For those of you who haven’t participated . . . don’t worry, *sniff * our feelings aren’t hurt *double sniff* . . . good news, it’s not too late to jump in! The deadline isn’t until Friday at midnight. There’s plenty of time! All you have to do is go back to each challenge, complete the task, and then leave a comment saying you participated. And the more you participate, the more entries you get! See Challenge #1 for the rules.

Challenge #1: Failure

Challenge #2: What’s Your Pitch?

Challenge #3: Poetry

Challenge #4: Writers illustrate and Illustrators write!

Challenge #5: Grip, Click, LEAP!

Challenge #6: Less is More

Challenge #7: Writing your Author Bio

Challenge #8: Overused Terms

Happy writing and drawing, everyone, and have a great time at the conference! 🙂

About Laura Bowers

Laura is a writer, runner, reader, runDisney addict, and blogger at As The Eraser Burns, Joyful Miles, and Write, Run, Rejoice. In the past, she's been a waitress, telemarketer, cook, real estate agent, and during her college days, a costumed character at holiday parades. (Memories of being terrorized as a candy cane still haunt her at night.) At the age of thirty, she pursued her dream of being a writer. Her first novel, Beauty Shop for Rent, a “Steel Magnolias for teens,” was inspired by a rusted sign by a charming old house, and now, she can honestly say that writing is a thousand times more rewarding than being a candy cane!
