Beyond Hogwarts: The Art of Children’s Literature

Those of you who live in the Frederick, Maryland area might be interested in attending the second session of Hood College’s annual colloquium series on Monday, October 3rd at 6:00 PM in Rosenstock Auditorium.  This particular session will focus on The Art of Children’s Literature and will include the screening of the award-winning documentary film, “Library of the Early Mind,” followed by a panel discussion with the film’s director Ted Delaney, children’s author Edith Hemingway, children’s book illustrator Susan Detwiler, and children’s librarian and member of the 2011 Newbery Selection Committee, Julie Dietzel-Glair.
