Sterling launches a new imprint!

Look for Sterling’s new teen fiction line, Splinter, launching at the beginning of 2011 with the first of Colleen Houck’s TIGER’S CURSE series about a teen girl and a white tiger setting out to rescue a cursed Indian Prince.  Splinter is publishing two other series after the TIGER’S CURSE series and is also looking for stand-alone novels which depict independent-minded teens marching to their own drummers.  Editorial Director, Cindy Loh, is the acquisitions editor for this imprint.  The books will be simultaneously published in print and e-book editions.

Go to http://www.sterlingpublishing.com/sterling/author-guidelines to see how to submit.  Since the guidelines, at the moment, say they do not publish novels, be sure to mention that you’ve heard of their new fiction imprint.

Thank you, Sarah Maury Swan, for passing on this new publishing opportunity!
